Why to Choose Our Premium Prestashop Themes <\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\nFollow these few steps to translate your new strings in PrestaShop 1.7.<\/p>\n
NOTE :<\/strong><\/span> You can only follow this process, If your files are indeed in the theme folder.<\/p>\n1. Use a custom domain for the new strings<\/p>\n
For example \u201cShop.Test\u201d<\/p>\n
It must :<\/p>\n
\n- \n
\n- Start by \u201cShop\u201d<\/li>\n
- Have 2 levels only. Like \u201cShop.Test\u201d- \u201cShop.Test.Contact\u201d won\u2019t work.<\/li>\n
- Not be in CamelCase. Like \u201cShop.Testtheme\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
– \u201cShop.TestTheme\u201d won\u2019t work.<\/p>\n
See below Example :<\/p>\n

\n2. Now, Export the language zip file from the Back-office.<\/p>\n

This will export language zip file.<\/p>\n
For example :<\/p>\n
If you\u2019ve chosen Spanish language, It will export file \u201ctest.es-ES.zip\u201d.<\/p>\n

\n3. Extract the zip file and copy all .xlf file.<\/p>\n
Here you will find all .xlf files. Copy that all .xlf<\/strong> file.<\/p>\n
\n4. Paste the all files into the translation folder of your theme.<\/p>\n
If necessary, create a folder for the language.<\/p>\n
For example:<\/p>\n
If you exported the Spanish, you have to add \u201ces-ES\u201d folder in translations folder.<\/p>\n

\n5. Translate the new strings from the Back-office.<\/p>\n
Go to International ><\/strong> Translations ><\/strong> Modify translations.<\/p>\nSelect \u201cThemes translation\u201d, your theme, and the language you want to translate.<\/p>\n

You will find your domain name in the Shop section, with all your strings of your theme:<\/p>\n

Translate your new strings, You can use a simple search to find all of the strings quickly then Click Save to confirm the change to your theme.<\/p>\n
\n6. Then, Export your theme from the Back-office<\/p>\n
Once you change the all translations you need, export your theme.<\/p>\n
