Step 1: Get Started<\/strong><\/p>\n

Login into Magento Admin Panel and from sidebar go to, Store > Settings > Configuration<\/p>\n

Step 2: Setup Customer Account Options<\/strong><\/p>\n

Now from sidebar go to, Customers > Customers Configuration<\/p>\n

Now Expand “Create New Account Options<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

Make the settings as needed.<\/p>\n

Enable Automatic Assignment to Customer Group<\/strong>: Choose Yes or No as needed.<\/p>\n

Default Group<\/strong>: Set Default Group that is assigned to new customers when an account is created.<\/p>\n

Default Value for Disable Automatic Group Changes Based on VAT ID<\/strong>: Choose Yes or No as needed.<\/p>\n

Show VAT Number on Storefront<\/strong>: If you have a VAT number and want it to be visible to customers, set Show VAT Number on Storefront to Yes.<\/p>\n

Default Email Domain<\/strong>: Enter the Default Email Domain for the store.<\/p>\n

Default Welcome Email<\/strong>: Select the template that is used for the Welcome email sent to new customers.<\/p>\n

Default Welcome Email Without Password<\/strong>: This email will be sent instead of the Default Welcome Email, if a customer was created without password.<\/p>\n

Email Sender<\/strong>: Set Email Sender to the store contact that appears as the sender of the Welcome email.<\/p>\n

Require Emails Confirmation<\/strong>: Choose Yes or No as needed.<\/p>\n

Confirmation Link Email<\/strong>: Set Confirmation Link Email to the template that is used for the confirmation email.<\/p>\n

Welcome Email<\/strong>: Set Welcome Email to the template that is used for the Welcome message that is sent after the account is confirmed.<\/p>\n

Generate Human-Friendly Customer ID<\/strong>: Choose Yes or No as needed.<\/p>\n

Now click on Save Config button.<\/p>\n
