How to Install a New Theme in PrestaShop

In this article,  we’ll show you, how to install a new theme in PrestaShop. Follow this simple guideline as shown below.

Step 1:

To install a new theme, Login into PrestaShop Back-Office and navigate to Design  > Theme & Logo. 

Step 2:

Click the Add new theme button.

Step 3:

Click the Add new theme button.

Step 4:

Here you can import a theme in three different ways:

1. By importing from your computer (Click on Browse button and select theme.zip file from your computer)
2. By importing from the web (Add an URL path of theme.zip file on your server)
3. By importing from FTP (File Transfer Protocol) (Upload theme.zip file in /public/prestashop/themes PrestaShop directory on your server)

Now, Click the Save button to install the uploaded theme package.

Step 5: Go back to Design  > Theme & Logo and activate the newly installed theme with “Use this theme“ option.
